Happy Indigenous Peoples’ Day! Today, we honor and celebrate the history, cultures, and resilience of Native American and Indigenous peoples. We acknowledge that Cali Calmécac Language Academy is located on the traditional and ancestral homelands of the Wappo and Southern Pomo peoples, including the Dry Creek Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians. We honor their enduring connection to this land, their rich cultural heritage, and their continued presence and contributions to our community.
