Just a reminder that school is closed tomorrow, Monday, January 19, 2026, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, honoring Dr. King’s legacy and contributions to civil rights.

🌲 Spend the Day Outside! Free State Park Admission
If you are able to, consider spending the day outdoors. California State Parks is offering free vehicle day-use entry tomorrow at more than 200 participating state parks statewide in honor of MLK Day.
Free entry is valid for:

  • One passenger vehicle with a capacity of nine people or fewer, or
  • One highway-licensed motorcycle.
Participating Sonoma County parks include:
  • Armstrong Redwoods
  • Austin Creek
  • Fort Ross
  • Jack London
  • Kruse Rhododendron 
  • Robert Louis Stevenson (also in Lake & Napa)
  • Salt Point 
  • Sonoma Coast
  • Sugarloaf Ridge  (also in Napa)
  • Trione-Annadel
  • Bothe-Napa Valley (also in Napa)
Enjoy the day, reflect on Dr. King’s legacy, and we’ll see students back at school Tuesday, January 20.
